Dimitrov uses a Wilson Prototype Spin Effect racquet strung with Luxilon 4G 125 or Wilson Natural Gut 17 strings.
Dimitrov, an only child, comes from two athletic parents. His father, Dimitar, is a tennis coach, and his mother, Maria, is a sports teacher and former volleyball player.
